ABOUT SANSERA FOUNDATION

 

Sansera Foundation is a registered charitable trust since 2007 and enjoys exemption of its income and recognised U/S 80 G of the Income tax Act. 

 

The trust has been involved in the area of education for the poor, environment and helping differently abled persons. 

 

Some of its key projects are:

 

SCHOOL PROGRAMME 

 

It has embarked on changing the lives of the students of Government schools in Rural Bangalore by introducing and carrying out activities such as Computer Literacy, English, Yoga, Music, Drawing etc in over 20 schools and creating a data bank of all students passing out in 10th standard, to ensure they are counselled, and where necessary, provided financial help to join professional / degree courses or vocational training programmes. In this endeavour it has received support from various organisations, including KMYF, Narayana Nethralaya and Rotary Club of Bangalore. 

 

Many corporates, like Fanuc, Makino, Jokey and Disha, have come forward to provide vocational training and job opportunities to the children. 

 

EDUCATION & EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME  

 

The Foundation provides financial support to 300 children dwelling in slums and gets them admission in well-run private schools.

 

OTHERS - ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY & HEALTH  

 

The Foundation has planted over 4,000 trees in different locations, has renovated and refurnished police station in Bommasandra, an auditorium at Kidwai Cancer Hospital and is rejuvenating a lake at Kyalasana Halli, Jigani, Anekal Taluk, Bangalore.

 

MANAGEMENT 

 

The Foundation is managed by F. R. Singhvi, a chartered accountant and an industrialist who is involved with many other charitable and social organisations.
